FAIR AMBASSADOR 2007-2008
Bethany Redick
Bethany
is a recent graduate of L.C.C.V.I. She
lives in rural Oil Springs, but spends most of her time in
Petrolia. She can usually be found at Victoria Playhouse
assisting the director of the Young Company’s performance
of the Phoenix Egg, working part-time at the box office at
the VPP, or buried in a good book at the library. You may
also see her onstage acting in the Petrolia Community Theatre’s
Christmas production of Rumpelstiltskin. She has spent a
lot of time working with adults in the theatrical business,
but still prefers the company of children. The summer of
2007 marked the “premier” of Silly
Summer Adventures, a collection of plays that she wrote,
choreographed, and directed herself, for the aspiring actors
and actresses of the Junior Company of Petrolia, aged 8 to
11, for five weeks. Her goal for the future is going
to Brock University to take Concurrent Education, majoring
in Theatre Arts. But until then she is busy stage
managing the 2008 Young Company at the VPP, possibly teaching
another session of the Junior Company at the VPP next summer,
and working diligently to complete her duties as the 2007-08
Petrolia and Enniskillen Fair Ambassador. But her first
priority is getting her driver’s license!!

If
you have an event you would like Bethany to attend , please contact
Judy Krall at 882-1055. If you are interested in running for
the 2008-09 Fair Ambassador, please contact Judy at 882-1055. Males
and Females are invited to try out. |
