Admission: $50.00 deposit check to be returned when the Entrant arrives at the competition location. If the Entrant does not show, the check will be cashed and proceeds will be donated to Petrolia Fair Board.
We will be accepting applications from 8 separate bands or performers All decisions by judging panel are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Please list equipment and number of microphones needed: (We will supply the PA System and it is an absolute that they will make you sound amazing, but they must have control of the sound and that means you can not have your amps turned up too high or they might blow something up.)

Rules and Regulations
1. Members of competing bands can be of all ages. No one is allowed to play in more that 2 bands, nor be lead vocalist in more than one band. 2. PA will be supplied. Drums will be supplied. Bands must provide their own instruments and stage amps. 3. Performance times will be drawn at the pre-event meeting. Bands must report to the Stage Manager one hour before the event. 4. Each band will be allocated 15 minutes playing time. 15 minutes will be given for set up and pack down between performances so it is imperative that you clear the stage quickly when you have finished your competition set. 5. Band members are not to communicate directly with event judges. Any problem with sound or lighting should be directed to Stage Manager (Danna Andrade) or sound/lighting technicians. 6. No stage diving, pyrotechnics, or any behavior that will endanger the audience or event participants. Abuse of supplied equipment will disqualify the competing offender(s), who will also be held financially responsible for any damage caused. 7. Bands are responsible for their own equipment and event organizers, The Music House of Petrolia and Petrolia Fair Board will not accept liability for the damage or loss of instruments during the event. All Bands items/instruments and equipment should be labeled and identified with band name. 8. All Decisions of the judges are final, and no discussion will be entered into. 9. Line up changes during the competition are not permitted, except for extreme circumstances and must be approved by the Stage Manager. 10. All competitors must remain at the competition for the duration. Any action that is considered detrimental or unsupportive to other competitors will be cause for dismissal from the competition.
