Our Ambassador having some fun
FAIR AMBASSADOR 2009-2010
Jordan Hardy
Hello everyone! I am Jordan
Hardy and am very proud to be your Petrolia and Enniskillen
Fall Fair Ambassador for 2009. Currently, I am attending
Trent University in Peterborough, so I have to miss some
activities. Runner up Jonathan Krall has been an excellent
representative in my place. Thank you so much Jonathan for
doing such a fantastic job!
Our fair has a long history and
being a hard oiler, I have enjoyed the fair my entire life.
All 19 years of it! Let me introduce myself a little better.
I am the youngest daughter of Gary and Janet (Dillon) Hardy.
I have an older sister Jacky, who lives in Sarnia. I also
have two dogs, Buffy and Lexy. I am a graduate of Queen Elizabeth
School and LCCVI. I was an honor student each high school
year.
When
I was younger, I was very actively involved in sports (baseball
and basketball) I played baseball until last summer, but
my basketball days were ended rather abruptly by a broken
ankle during a high school turney in Windsor. I was a member
of LCCVI’s prestigious “Jazz
Attack”. I love to sing! I was also a member of Lambton
Youth Choir during my elementary school years. I have volunteered
with many organizations over the years including the Humane
Society, Cancer Society, Lambton Central Optimists. I was
a peer tutor in high school and found it very rewarding.
I enjoy reading, music, video games and writing. Some of
my poems and stories have won competitions. Of this I am
very proud!
Until
this year, I didn’t realize
just how much work it took to put the fair together. The
Krall and MacAuslan families are tireless workers who deserve
considerable recognition! I had so many rewarding experiences
and so much fun on fair weekend. Thank you to last years
Ambassador Laura Lebert for encouraging me to run. I look
forward to representing our area at upcoming events!
Thank you!
Jordan Hardy!
